Logan's Kitties (or "Tiddies," as he calls them!) HeHeHe!
Logan absolutely LOVES these little guys and takes them almost everywhere he goes! The store, the library, the playground...If fact, they often join us at the table for meals!
He'd take them in the bathtub if I'd let him (believe me, he's tried!) And don't even think about putting him to bed without them! As you can imagine, they get pretty dirty and have had every body fluid imaginable on them (including blood and vomit!) The poor little guys are no strangers to the inside of my washing machine!

The poor little guys are no strangers to the inside of my washing machine! There was a time when there was only one kitty (the more raggedy of the two...yeah, I know it's hard to tell!) He was a gift that Logan's Great-Grandma Nemanich sent in the mail. Grandma N has sent several cute little books and animals to the boys, but for some reason, Logan got really attached to this one!
Last year, when Kitty #1 joined us at Niagara Falls, I thought to myself, "What would we do if Kitty got lost on one of our adventures? We'd better get a replacement!" So I got on eBay (of course) and found Kitty's identical twin brother (at that time, he was brand-new, clean, and fluffy), who was immediately shipped to our house. Now I could sneak one kitty away to be washed while the other kitty took his place! I was pretty proud of myself for this brilliant plan!
This worked out pretty nicely until Logan happened to see BOTH kitties at the same time! He was THRILLED, of course - now he had TWO KITTIES to carry around! Yeah! So much for my brilliant plan!
The other day, I was working on the computer (okay, I was writing on the blog!), and Logan was playing upstairs alone. I noticed that I hadn't heard anything from him for a few minutes, so I went up to check on him. Expecting the worst, this is what I found instead:

Notice Logan has supplied each kitty with his own blanket! SO SWEET!

that is too sweet.....I love them under the blankets! Maybe you need to buy a few more "replacement" kitties....just in case one of the pair goes missing now.....
I've seriously thought of that! There are about four of them on eBay right now! The only thing that is stopping me is that I'm afraid he will find out about the new replacements and then...
Yeah, we have 3 "blankies" for Jack. We learned this idea the hard way with Olivia. You should get the other kitty from eBay and only take it out when one (or both... the horror!) kitties are lost or completely out of commission. It never hurts to be way too prepared!
Summer I love the pictures. That is so cute. I had the same game plan with Rylynn's pink blankie that she cannot be without and she also saw both of them and now carries both around all the time. They are just too smart for us! Rylynn has been tucking her dolls and doggies in lately with the spare blankie. I love the way kids minds work:) Oh and we are definitely going together with Carissa to Twilight when it comes out!
Summer, that is too cute! What a sweet little boy! Lucy does the same thing with her little doggies & they too go EVERYWHERE with us :)
I think some people do that with gold fish...but sometimes the repacement fish are bigger...or worse.....they get smaller. They explaining that one to the child. ha ha ha
