Today I thought I'd try a -do that my cute little niece, Paiton, wears. I found out it's not as easy as it looks on a squirmy one-year-old. This seriously took me thirty minutes and two start-overs. That's not going to work. Especially on Sunday mornings with 9 am church. So, all you hair-savy mommies of little girls, you got any tips for me? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hannah's New Hair-Do

What a doll! She looks so cute! You did a great job Summer. One of my friends always does her daughters hair so cute. She gets a lot of ideas from this blog. http://cutegirlshairstyles.blogspot.com/ Her daughter is 6 though so it not as much of a wrestling match to do her hair. It's a good thing Blaine is a boy; I can barely handle wrestling to change his diaper. I can't imagine trying to do more to his hair than brushing it. Yikes! Good luck!
OH!! SHE IS SO CUTE!!!!
So I made the mistake of telling dad about our little secret. You know the one-dad says its not about Hannah is it? What does he know, oh course its all about Hannah right!!???!!! Ha Ha Ha
By the way Hannah is adorable!!!!
I missed that class too when I had Olivia. I didn't do anything to her hair until she was almost 18 months old, and boy was I schooled! It used to take me forever to get piggy tails in her hair and then it got easier. Seriously, just practice, practice, practice! Soon she'll get used to it and so will you. Oh, I also found that putting in a movie always helped distract Olivia long enough for me to do her hair. Good luck! She is adorable with her new do!
She is seriously the cutest thing ever, I could stare at her all day! The pig tails are adorable. It is hard work being a girl!
Her hair is so cute! I think you've got the hair thing down:) Teach me how to do it! I've Megan to practice on (when she lets me) and I'm terrible at it!
i love the "smarty pants" shirt; i love the bows! i have been wondering lately, where does one get bows?! does one have to make their own?! ;)
i keep deciding that i just need to visit you guys, and you need to visit us more often. :) those kids of yours are growing up in another state and i am missing out!!!!
When Paiton was small I did her hair in the bathtub. She was confined and her hair is already wet(wet hair is a must, way easier to slick back) Once that quit working, I did it while she was eating, or playing with a favorite toy. Now that she is loving cartoons, that is the one time of the day she knows she gets to watch them, and almost looks forward to hair time. I say invest in a good rat tail comb, and a brush that has lots of bristles (from the dollar store).
Good luck. You look like you are already a pro.
