We're going to be WASHINGTONIANS!!! Olympians, to be exact. Yesterday Bryan signed the papers with a great anesthesia group in Olympia, Washington to start in Aug 2010. It was a very difficult decision, choosing between Olympia and Puyallup; the people we met in the Puyallup group were so great, like instant friends. It was so hard to turn them down. However, we feel really good about Olympia and are glad to finally know where we will be going.
Since I didn't take any pictures while I was there, I thought I share some pics of Olympia that I "borrowed" from the Internet.
When Logan heard the news, he said (with a concerned look on his face), "What do they have in Olympia? Do they have any playgrounds?" I showed him some pics of playgrounds in the area, so now he is satisfied. Glad he's so easy to please.

YAY!!! I'm so happy for you. What a good feeling to know where your headed! I'm sure you'll love it there. Although, I have to warn you- no matter how much you love the place, you'll never have the "mommy playground" hookup again! It's just not the same. :( Oh how i miss talking with my friends while the kids play!
Yeah yeah yeah! You'll only be like 20 minutes or so from me! I am so excited that Bryan found a job he is happy with. And that it is so close to me! The pictures you found are beautiful :)
As long as you can deal with Pacific Northwest rain, you'll love it. I lived outside Portland for seven years, and I'd move back to Oregon or Washington in a heartbeat if I could. Congrats on the job!

Wow, that is SOOOOOOOOO BEYOND EXCITING!!! Congratulations. It looks beautiful, and I know you guys will make it feel like home.
Part of me is jealous, but part of me is kind of relieved to delay the job hunting another year. Maybe Bryan can put in a good word for Jeromy! Do they need any pain specialists in his group?

My great uncle lives in a tiny town called Sequim, which is on the Olympic peninsula- just up north more. He's traveled all over the world, but he still claims the olympic peninsula is the most beautiful place on the earth. Congrats!
